THE REPURPOSER COLLECTIVE RETREAT is HAPPENING!
It's our first ever in-person gathering! And YOU are invited!
A long weekend where we meet face to face, create side by side, and just be together. Think communal meals, art making and a whole lot of laughter and conversation.
WHEN: July 22nd, 23rd, 24th, 25th and 26th, 2026
WHERE: A beautiful farmhouse on a Hudson Valley mountain top in Cragsmoor, NY.
6 bedrooms, 10 beds, 3 baths.
Close to Ellenville and Pine Bush, about an hour away from Kingston and about an hour and half drive from NYC. New York Stewart International Airport is the closest to here, with White Plains Airport and Albany Airport next closest, and then of course all three NYC area airports – JFK, Newark and LGA.
Carpooling is encouraged! I will set up a Telegram chat space for us to coordinate everyone’s travel plans.
ACTIVITIES:
July 22nd, Wednesday evening – leisurely arrival, communal dinner and conversation.
July 23rd – Day 1 – breakfast; perhaps a hike and a clean up effort at a local park, disposing of trash properly and maybe collecting materials for art; lunch in a cool local spot; back to the base for relaxation and art; dinner together.
July 24th – Day 2 – breakfast; either art making in our spacious abode or a studio/gallery visit for inspiration; lunch in a cool local spot, followed by time for artmaking in a shared space; dinner together.
July 25th – Day 3 – breakfast; art making all day with a break for lunch; dinner together.
July 26th – Sunday morning – a leisurely breakfast and conversation before departure.
Any physical activities such as hikes will be based on the abilities and desires of participants. You will be sent an intake form shortly after you secure your spot where you can note your ability to participate in hikes and of course all other pertinent information.
Art making is why we’ll be here. There will be time for collective and individual art making. There will be prompts, there will be suggestions, there will be conversations, perhaps there will be a crit. Everything will flow intuitively, I will be responding to the attendees, we will communicate and we will enjoy the collaborations, the learning and even the solitude. Everything will be available to us.
PRICE: per person (lodging and meals included)
$1,400 per person, 10 spots only!
Please hold your spot by putting down a $500 deposit. The deposit is fully refundable before June 20th, 50% refundable between June 20th and July 10th. Final payment will be due on July 10th. No refunds after July 10th.
There are only three single rooms, if you wish to be in one of these, please be the first to put down your deposit.
